For sale again a jagxk.com/cars-for-sale/category/jaguar-xk140-ots.html
Sellers description:
Chassis number: S812828
Engine number: G9015-8
This Jaguar XK140 open two seater or "roadster" was restored over a 20 year period by a previous owner and was finished by Twyford Moors. Since then the car has been upgraded for modern driving and now benifits from an alternator, electric cooling fan, 123 electronic ignition and an uprated wiper motor. It has also been converted from left to right hand drive.
This XK140 looks stunning in old english white with red interior and has a good set of wet weather gear. This classic look is increased by running on its original steel wheels and spats

Jaguar enthusiasts will undoubtedly appreciate the originality of this XK140, as apart from the cooling system upgrades and steering conversion, it remains extremely close to its original condition inside and out. Although the restoration took place some ten years ago, the car is still in excellent condition, with minimal signs of use and no obvious corrosion. The vendor reports no notable defects or problems with the cabin electrics.
Mechanicals
3.4-litre twin overhead cam XK engine
Four-speed manual gearbox
Improved cooling system now incorporating a boost tank and electric cooling fan
Impeccable engine compartment
Indicated as being in good working order
The XK models didn't just look good, they really were, thanks to the all-new XK engine with twin overhead camshafts, designed by William Heynes. Reaching 190-200 km/h was easily possible, which was quite remarkable for the time, and the XK140 handled particularly well, incorporating several improvements over its predecessor - many of which were developed at Le Mans where Jaguar raced from 1951 to 1953.
According to the vendor, the car is a joy to drive, with apparently sound mechanicals and no apparent faults. Everything is in very good condition under the bonnet and the installation of the previously mentioned cooling system upgrades is very neat.
