The seller's ad reads:
This superb XK is quite pristine.

The car is in my workshop where all operations were carried out in due form.

Floor replaced. Anticorrosion treatment of the lower parts of the body. All carpets changed. The ceiling is new. The woodwork has been reconditioned. The gearbox is new. The watertightness of the windscreen by now under way (replacement joints and anti corrosion process). Full coverage of the electrical circuit. Brakes checked.
All work have been undertaken in accordance with the original Jaguar specifications. Part upholstery was done by our colleague Caribex specialized in upholstery of these cars.
The car is already registered in the Tour de France Auto 2009 (from 20 to 25 April): it will be possible for the future buyer to be able to participate in this event.

Auction description:
Sale 19293 - The December Sale, Mercedes-Benz World, Important Collectors' Motor Cars and Automobilia, 1 Dec 2011
Weybridge, Mercedes-Benz World Brooklands
Lot No: 404
1952 Jaguar XK120 Fixed-head Coupe
Registration no. to be advised
Chassis no. 680033
Engine no. W5936-8
Estimate: £55,000 - 60,000, € 64,000 - 70,000

Originally shipped to distributor Charles Hornburg of Los Angeles in September 1952, '680033' was acquired by the well-known Dutch dealer Braam Ruben ('Pur Sang') and returned to Europe in 1988. It then spent some years in a Frankfurt Museum before acquisition by a Belgian owner in 2002. More recently the car has been in France and been used extensively for classic touring.
This very good-looking XK120 fixed-head coupé is finished in its original colour of silver and is to standard specification complete with steel wheels and spats (as Sir William Lyons intended). A remarkably original car, it has very straight bodywork and is solid underneath, and has had sympathetic restoration over the years so the paint and chrome are very good. The interior woodwork was refurbished and the interior re-trimmed about four years ago.
The vendor advises us that this is a well sorted XK with a lively engine showing good oil pressure, an unusually quiet and crisp Moss gearbox, and well set up drum brakes. It combines the sublime looks of the XK120 FHC in its purest form with the well known XK practicality. The car is offered with history file containing invoices and photographs, JDHT Heritage certificate, current MoT/tax and Swansea V5C registration document.
