Car was at auction in '07
www.classicauctions.co.uk/pictures.php

Auction description:
Kempton Park Racecourse
Lot : 66
1956 JAGUAR XK140 DROPHEAD COUPE SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
Estimate: £26000 - 30000
Mileage: 2300
Colour: B.R.G.
Trim Colour: BLACK
Chassis No: S818363
Engine No: V5241-8
Registration No: KFO 421
M.O.T: JUNE 2008
Finished in British Racing Green with black leather upholstery, this particular 'special equipment' example is variously described by the vendor as being in "good" (chassis, bodywork) or "very good" (engine, four-speed manual plus overdrive gearbox, electrical equipment, interior trim, wheels / tyres) condition. While, she notes that the paintwork displays some "very slight bubbling in localised areas". Reportedly imported during the late 1980s, 'KFO 421' is understood to have been converted from left- to right-hand drive shortly thereafter. Treated to an extensive restoration by its previous keeper, the Jaguar sports a black mohair hood, wooden dashboard and wire wheels. Decidedly elegant, it is offered for sale with MOT certificate and historic class (free) road tax valid until June 2008.

It seems to be a fantastic car. Who is currently the owner; I'd like to get in touch with him/her??

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
