Sellers description:
JAGUAR/XK 150 3.8Litre S FHC Chassis No. T825273DN
TSU 186 chassis number T 825273 DN is a matching numbers car & comes with a Heritage certificate indicating an external colour change to the present Indigo Blue requested at the time of the nut & bolt Restoration. The car spent many years as part of the JCB collection, and has a genuine mileage of 48136. The car was bought by Anthony Bamford from Duncan Hamilton in Bangshot in the early 90's who supplied it to a previous owner, who subsequently sold it back to them, this was the point when Duncan Hamilton completed a major ground up restoration 1993 ( since 1990 just a sparing 4000 documented miles ) reflecting many years in secure " Cocoon Storage "
This car outstanding quality is one of the very best XK's I have ever driven, the car is simply stunning in every way. The Color combination of Indigo Blue with correct Red Patina Leather exceptional, unmarked 72 spoke original specification extra wide Wire Wheels simply dramatising a Wow factor for this car.
The car with us here in Suffolk and will be on display ( Stand ID 319 ) at the NEC Birmingham Classic Car show between the 12th and the 14th November. This is a car sure to find a new home very soon.
