Car has been imported to Switzerland on 26th August 1987 and has been restored by former owner from 1991-1999. Original equipment comprised 2inch "Sand cast" carbs.

The engine is a 9S model with special 9 : 1 compression pistons and with the SU H8 2" sand cast carburetors. The recorded production count of XK 140 cars, is 74 and only part of them had sand cast carburetors. This figure is confirmed by Anders D. Clausager and Martin W. Brauns.
