This lovely example was acquired by the Seller in 1998 and immediately sent off for a complete restoration to top show standards. Tasteful mechanical upgrades were made including installation of a Richmond 6 Speed Gearbox, Willwood Disc Brakes, Electronic Ignition, Aluminum Radiator, Halogen and LED Lighting, an Alternator with a conversion to Negative Ground. The interior was tastefully upgraded with more sporting Bucket Seat backs- which make the car more comfortable for taller drivers-and a Moto Lita Steering Wheel.

All Original Parts were retained, and go with the car.

After successfully showing and enjoying the car for nearly 20 years the car was sent to noted Jaguar Specialist Muncie Imports in 2020 for an Engine Rebuild, a new Clutch and Throw out Bearing, and more. New Michelin X tires are scheduled to be installed in the next week or so.

This car was thrill to ride in and I hazard to say is one of the best prepared and roadworthy XK Jaguars on the market today. You can immediately campaign this car on any of the many Historic Rallies it is eligible for. This is just an exciting car, and I have some great spirited driving videos for those of you interested.

This is without a doubt one of the finest XK150 Roadsters in the country. A car you can buy with confidence and without hesitation.

An extensive frame-off restoration was preformed on this elegant, Multiple Best of Show Winning, 1959 Jaguar XK150 Roadster. Professionally painted to very high standards in correct black and jeweled with new chrome, stainless and glass all the way around. Under the hood of this black Jaguar showcases a show quality, factory correct, rebuilt 4-2 liter Jaguar six cylinder engine rebuilt by Jaguar Specialists in Muncie Indiana with only 2k miles on the engine and the extensive restoration according to the rebuilt odometer. The mileage will definitely increase the more I have a chance to drive the car. This car has several expensive upgrades to insure driving pleasure. A freeway friendly Richmond 6-speed was installed for better shifting and to reduce synchro wine and is much more freeway friendly. New Wilwood, 4-Wheel disc brakes were added for better braking. The 150XK roadster interior much roomier with ample leg room and was restored with luxurious with tan leather bucket seats, dash and door panels. There is also a restored tan leather bench seat that comes with the car, if you prefer the original look. The interior was restored to a very high level and has been upgraded with a gorgeous burled walnut dash with newer rebuilt and refaced instrumentation showing only 2k on the odometer.
