A 'Special Equipment' model with the rare automatic gearbox, this XK150 was restored some years ago by Danish specialist K. Torp Madsen, of Roskilde. This Special Equipment model includes wire wheels, fog lamps, twin exhaust and the up-rated 3.8-litre engine with B-type cylinder head. The car has acquired a nice patina, with dark blue paint set off by new red leather upholstery. The hood is beige and is in nice condition. The wheels show some rust and, unusually, carry B.F. Goodrich narrow whitewall tyres. A modern Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio has been installed under the dashboard. The interior is nice and clean, and overall, the car presents very nicely.

The car was restored in the late 80ies as I remember. The owner (a banker) used the car as his daily driver - all year!. Only had a E V12 and a Bentley S1 as back-up - newer seen him a mondern car.
Seen the car a number of times in Copenhagen in the snow :)
The owner at that time had loaned money from the owner of Aalholm museum - and the car ended up as settlement...and thus one of the last cars to be added to the museum
