The original engine and gearbox from S838622 were seen California in 2010 - separate from any car. The front scuttle and guards from this car are in New Zealand, in poor shape.

The photo of the white XK150 DHC that now appears on this page is the same photo was was used by Californian dealer European Collectibles when they advertised car S838624 for sale on eBay in USA in March 2005. Car S838624 had engine number VA1449-9. When pressed for details in 2006, the Indonesian advertiser claiming to be selling S828622 came back with documentation for S838624 and the same photo from 2005..
