British Sports Cars is pleased to offer this exceptionally rare Jaguar XK150S Roadster for sale. This is a car we have known and maintained since 2018, during which time over $12,000 was invested to bring it to the excellent running and driving condition it presents today. Since that work was completed, the car has been driven very few miles.
This example is the highly desirable 3.4-liter matching-numbers “S” model, featuring the factory high-compression, triple-carburetor engine, offering significantly higher performance than the standard XK150. The XK150S represents the pinnacle of the XK line, combining improved braking, handling, and power in a refined open-roadster package.
The car is in excellent overall condition, very well maintained, and fully ready for road use. With just over 800 XK150S Roadsters produced and approximately 200 known to survive today, this is an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire one of Jaguar’s most collectible postwar sports cars.

This 1958 Jaguar XK150 S is powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive, and it is finished in Cream over black leather. Features include 16″ knock-off wire wheels, disc brakes, and adjustable seats. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, the car received a brake system refresh and paintless dent removal in May 2026. This XK150 S is now offered with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate and a clean California title.
The car left the factory finished in Cream and was repainted under previous ownership. The car features a one-piece windshield, bright trim, and full-width chrome bumpers with overriders. Paintless dent removal was performed in preparation for the sale, and additional exterior image are provided in the image gallery below.
The 16″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with 185-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. A full-size spare is stored under the trunk floor, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. In May 2026, the brake calipers, pads, hoses, and fluid were replaced.
The adjustable seats are trimmed in replacement black leather and are complemented by a leather-wrapped dashboard. Interior appointments include a cabin heater, a defroster, wind-up side windows, door storage pockets, and a folding rear bulkhead.
The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 6k-rpm tachometer with an embedded clock as well as a 140-mph speedometer and an ammeter alongside gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 105 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3,442cc inline-six featured triple SU HD8 carburetors from the factory for a rating of 250 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. Recommissioning work in 2018 included cleaning the fuel tank and lines, rebuilding the fuel pump, and cleaning the carburetor. The cylinder head was removed and machined at this time, and the water pump, thermostat, and radiator were replaced. The carburetor float was replaced in May 2026.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists a manufacture date of April 14th, 1958 and lists factory powertrain numbers and colors.
