Urs Schmid:
Chassis number 660063, one of three XK 120 FHC conversions done by Ghia Aigle before the real thing appeared. First owner Mr Jean-Pierre Bellorini, Lausanne, Switzerland.
Peter Ingram:
Further research reveals the same picture described as a 120 Coupe (FHC) of 1952. The copy says " This was the first modification by Ghia -Aigle to a Jaguar. It consisted of eliminating the raindrop curve in the roof and improving the car's aerodynamics " Source Le Metamorphoses du Jaguar by Roland Urban page 160. This was the Swiss company Aigle who were allowed to use the Italian name GHIA as long as they added Aigle. Founded by Dottore Filippi in 1949. Pietro Frua was the stylist between 1957 - 1960 so not responsible for this design.
