Seller's description:

Price £41,000

1950 Jaguar XK120

Mileage 55,363

Country Sweden, Town Linköping

1950 Jaguar XK120, Certified factory "Exact Jabbeke Replica". "Barnfind/ Timecapsule " Bought by previous owner in England in 1954 and was occasionally driven until 1975 when it was stored in a dry hangar.

Basically rust free. New brakes. Good leather. Never renovated. It has some wear and tear, mostly because of old age, the canvas top and side windows can be described as "stiff" the hardtop has a tear in the fabric and the perspex is cracked. The engine froze so the original engine is unfortunately no longer with us.

It is currently fitted with a 4. 2L engine from an XJ6. Renovated fuel pump and carburetors. comes with two dismantled 3. 8L engines and some other jaguar parts. Would be best kept as unrenovated with the original patina preserved.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
