This car is now in Europe, and yes I checked it : it's a not easy restoration project, but in my opinion restorable. It is a 1950 car in RHD form,
and very probably this car was sent in early years in US for racing, could it be for an english driver ?
Almost every 1950's xk120 was a racer, as every time you rebuild a 1950 engine, the inside modifications suggest a competition use.
What better than a 1950 xk120 in the original true-british RHD form ?

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
