Having had only one owner since 1967, this very early example is really quite stunning. Finished in very light metallic grey/blue, with matching wire wheels, and trimmed in mid blue hide the car exudes instant appeal. Fully restored by Southern Classics (under the legendary Alan Holdaway) in 1990 and maintained by Rectory Classics ever since, the car boasts a very good provenance indeed. The dynamics of this car are quite exceptional - in short: it flies!! It is outstandingly brisk, incredibly smooth and drives as straight as an arrow. The car is immaculate from stem to stern and is an utterly top quality specimen. We are, needless to say, delighted to have this car in stock. Registered:
NKL 60

Sellers description:
Jaguar XK 120 Roadster
Petrol, Manual, Blue Leather, 1,000 miles
£99,995
The example we have here is a very early 'short hood' model; chassis number 660355 was supplied new on 8 December 1950 by JE Bird Automobiles in London to a Mr CR Bertoli on the number that it sports today, NKL 60. We are informed that the car has had only one owner for the majority of its life (from 1967-1989) where it then changed hands to a Mr Money from Leatherhead. The XK was subsequently bought by the current registered keeper through Racing Green Cars in 2009 as a retirement present to himself.
The service history file details the full photographic restoration by Alan Holdaway (a leading expert/Southern Classics) in 1989-1990 and has been maintained by Rectory Classics since.
When the car was restored it was uprated to SE Specification - that is to say, converted to wire wheels, open rear arches a twin pipe stainless exhaust system and an uprated cylinder head. The car was then fitted with an alternator and converted to twin 12V batteries and has the benefit of electronic ignition and the more reliable electronic fuel pump.
So in conclusion, what we have here is a very straight and superb driving XK120 and although an older restoration, it has paid tribute to the people who carried out the works as there is now a wonderful interior patina over gun barrel straight bodywork and a superb paint finish. Now ready for a new and enthusiastic keeper.....

Great history folder
This matching numbers Jaguar has been restored a number of years ago and presents in delightful condition. The blue coachwork is virtually unmarked and the blue leather interior has a lovely patina. We are advised by the vendor this Jaguar drives with no known faults, unsurprising given the significant history folder. Manufactured on 27th November 1950 and delivered by J.E. Bird Automobiles in Lewisham, as confirmed by the Heritage Certificate, this genuine righthand drive example XK120 Roadster was featured in Jaguar Driver magazine in September 1990. Photographic evidence of the restoration is enclosed in the history folder, which also contains a V5C registration document and a host of previous MoT test certificates. Sitting proudly on wire wheels and still bearing the original registration number NKL 60, this Jaguar XK120 Roadster wants for nothing.

It would have nice if the restorer had learned how to park the wipers correctly.
