Our 1950 built car is a rare car to come for sale. One of the very earliest XK's built in right hand drive specification retaining its original chassis and registration number.

With only 3 owners since 1990 during which time the car has been restored and carefully maintained with some subtle upgrades including all synchro overdrive gearbox and disc brakes. The car presents really well in the classic colour combination of red body with excellent beige trim and chrome wire wheels. The colour change came as part of the full body off chassis restoration and the car was clearly restored very well as it remains in very fine condition indeed.

There is a substantial history file supplied with the car including the original green log book, magazine articles and photos plus photos of the restoration and a plethora of bills for maintenance and improvement

Wanting for nothing this car presents a rare opportunity to own a very early original right hand drive XK which is on the button and ready to go.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
