This car is mentioned in a letter to "Jaguar Driver" magazine January 1983 by the then owner Barry C Eccleston of County Durham England. He stated that the car had been exported to Kenya in 1951 having been built in March of that year. He also stated that he owned the ex-Scragg HWM Alta-Jaguar and its rear suspension consisted of Ford Zephyr and Thames Trader parts!
