This car has a very interesting history having once been fitted with a FHC body. Restored in late 1980's. We rebuilt the engine and fitted a Tremac 5 speed gearbox along with a pair of replica bucket seats in 2006 for the owner, Norm Johnson. I believe the reference to "once a fixed head " refers to a Morris Minor style body originally on 660102......

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
