A very interesting partial history of the car is discussed in the June 2012 edition of the XK Gazette. An early owner (now passed) was aggressively searching for the car but still not found as of this printing. The early owner has provided the club with memorabilia from the car's early years and would like to reunite it with the car. If anyone knows the whereabouts please contact the XK Club.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
