XK120 Drophead in black with red leather. first registered 01/ 07/ 1954

Jaguar heritage certificate confirms car was sold by W Hadfield - Dealer in Sheffield

4 owners from new including last owner who briefly sold it for two years

Originally Registered in Sheffield and was purchased first time round in 1979 by current owner, sold as a part complete restoration project in 2000 and purchased back in 2002. - due to owner moving abroad.

Full rebuild completed in 2008 including;

Complete body and chassis restoration

Full engine rebuild including conversion to unleaded fuel, crank seal conversion and balance.

All suspension and brakes restored or replaced.

New hood by Mick Turley, including zip down rear window and all the correct period chrome trims.

New interior.

All wood restored.

4 speed and overdrive conversion.

Polished Stainless steel 72 spoke wheels.

Original gearbox and lever arm shocks available if required.

Standard car but fitted with XJ6 all synchromesh 4 speed overdrive gearbox.

The car is featured in Nigel Thorley’s book Jaguar XK

Loads of paperwork, invoices, and original registration documents.

Winner of Harewood concours some years ago. Little use since.

Possibly the best on the market, must be seen if you are looking for a XK to use and for investment.
