This was originally a Canadian delivery car (Montreal). The first owner (whose name I have written down somewhere) was a mining enterpreneur who ran into financial difficulties and the car was repossesed by the dealer. It was then purchased by Stan McRobert (who also owned an XKSS) and he enjoyed it for several years before selling it on.
The car bounced aorund quite a bit and apparently was rebodied with a "kustom" body at some point in time (George Barris?). It was discovered in a local barn here in Quebec in the late 1990's in the care of (can't remember his name, Francois something... I have it written down) and was purchased by Jeremy Broad in the UK. Given the enormity of the project he sold it on to the new owners in the Netherlands.
I'm still trolling around for pictures of this car when new; I will eventually succeed!

I have numerous photos of this car taken when it came out of the barn in VERY ROUGH SHAPE headlights frenched in just a collection of loose panels in something that resembled a 120 .. appeared comparitivly complete.. but not quite sure what I am comparing it to! a true basket case.

The two photos were uploaded by me. One shows the car in the 1960's, body mods already done. The other from the 1990's(?) with the car neglected and sitting outside for a long time.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
