Know he left a green 120 coupe at Doc's, he also got from Doc a super original under 6k mile red 120 OTS, chassis S672955 which I now have.

This car is not in Portugal. I do not know what car is shown in the above photos but it is not 67008. After Doc Jaguar restored this car, he sold it to Bill Twigg-Smith. I sold Bill Twigg-Smith several vehicles and in 2012, I tried to buy one of them back but he would only sell that car so long as I agreed to buy this XK 120. I sold the car to a friend in New Hampshire a few weeks later and that owner has just finished a four year restoration of the car.

The car was sold new in California by Hornburg and it remained on a California with two private owners on the original California 1950 license plates "CWG645." Like most cars in California, it was titled and registered by the engine number "W11438." The original California owner raced the car through the 1950s in various SoCal West Coast races. He sold the car in 1975 to Keith Forster who lived in Berkley, California. The car was off the road and stored from 1976 until being purchased by Doc Jaguar in 2005. Doc Jaguar sold the car to Bill Twigg-Smith in Vermont. Mr. Twigg-Smith did not drive the car and it was stored for several years until I bought it in 2012.

Bill Noons comment is missing the period 1977 to around 2000. The car was imported to Switzerland in 1978. The importer then was M.F. Redard in Neuchatel. Later the wreck was sold to Achille Meylan from Lausanne who intended to restore the car to its former glory, sometimes after 1998 I bought the started restoration which was a big pile of bits. She was then bought by Peter Haltiner, friend of "Doc". What Haltiner/Doc have done to the car I do not know. As mentionend above I do have the file of Mr. Meylan in my posession.
