car noted in "XK120 in Detail" by ADC as having been found in the USA in 2002 and now in the UK.
Does anyone have details of the people who found it in the USA and sent it to the UK or current UK owners
    thanks

I bought the car in June 2001 in Hopewell Pennsylvania from Mr Anthony Gamley Jr the keeper of a local hostelry.

He acquired the car from the estate of a long term resident of Berkeley County Virginia, a Dr Ward Keesecker who was thought to have been a long term owner of the vehicle.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
