I had an enquiry about the data plate for this car back in 2017. This is what I wrote then: "In the Sep/Oct 2010 edition of Jaguar Journal (a US magazine) there was a note that stated: "XK 120 ID plate found! Do you own Chassis # 670508? If you do, send a letter to the Journal along with proof of ownership and we will put you in touch with a former Jaguar dealer who has the original data plate from 670508. He wants to make sure it goes to the right home."
