Ebay item 2/16/09 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK120-Very-early-XK120-Roadster-Body-725-with-tra ...
Current bid $11,100, no reserve, 9 bids 8 days left in auction. 92k miles.
Sellers description:
This is the 725th left hand drive XK120 roadster. An original Black with Tan and Biscuit interior car. Engine, cylinder head and transmission are all numbers matching. This car has traficators. We are told this car has been parked and in storage since the 1970's. My partner who is a Jaguar restorer has indicated that the wiring harness appears to be original to this car and is set up for the trafficators. However, I believe that the U.S. distributor, Max Hoffman, installed the traficators and replaced the wiring harness prior to delivery of this car to its first owner. Why would an American distributor go through all that work, for a presumably American customer? An enigma we were researching. However having purchased a rare first edition we must sell some of our cars as will be further explained below.
This is a very solid car. Drivetrain is excellent and does not require restoration. Body and frame are very solid. You will however, as is typical for these cars wish to replace or lightly repair the door sills and perhaps the shutfaces, for which the new parts are included with the car. The traficators are by Lucas and appear to be model SF40. On the traficator arm it says "Traficator 94036A". Pictures of one trafficator which we removed are included below.
This is one of the nicest 120 restoration candidates my partner has ever seen. As a very early car and with the addition of the unusual traficators this will be an enjoyable car to drive with outstanding pedigree and history.

Additional seller notes from above auction:
This car has the chrome plated seat and hood(convertible top) frames. Car runs and drives. Engine has excellent oil pressure and no inappropriate noises. The convertible top frame comes with the car. The interior transmission cover was removed to confirm that the transmission is the original numbers matching unit (along with the engine and cylinder head which are both numbers matching as well. We did not put the transmission cover back on, it also comes with the car. This is a running, drivable car.

In 2014 a complete renovation was started, the car was completely dismantled and all parts were renovated. The engine was also overhauled and the transmission revised. At this time, the painting of the body to old English white is finished and the body was married to the chassis.
