Seller's description:
1950 Jaguar XK120 OTS LHD
Chassis Number: 670979
Registration Number:TXS725
Registered In: UK
Price: £180,000
Absolutley mint condition having covered just 50 shakedown miles since restoration was just completed. Some 3000 man hours went into this project along with huge expenditure on the mechanical aspects of the car & its cosmetics. This is a car that has had a full nut & bolt rebuild to the most exacting of standards & is a credit to its current owner who commissioned the restoration & oversaw the various aspects of it.
The only deviation from stock is the fitment of a single 12V battery behind the seats. Provision has been made however for this to be switched back to the two invidual units as fitted when the car was new.
The car is finished in its original colour of Metallic Bronze paintwork with a biscuit & tan interior as when new, speciaifed on the Heritage build sheet from Jaguar cars. There is a full split tonneau cover in chocolate brown so as not to show any dirt & also a matching chocolate brown hood with letterbox style glass rear window.
In addiiton to a full engine rebuild the Moss gear box was also disassembled & new internal parts fitted as required. The car is in its original specifiaction as it left the factory. The car underneath is in identical condition to how it is on top; pristine & perfect.
