Only 40,600 Miles in One Family Ownership Since New. Was Totally Original In Every Respect, Including Original Black Paint and Red/Tan Interior. Even The Original Tires Are With The Car! However, I decided to perfect the cosmetics and insure that any surface rust on the underside of the fenders, etc. was removed. The body shell has been soda blasted to bare metal and prepared to perfect rust free condition before being completely epoxy primed, including chassis frame and underbody. A show quality repaint is now in progress to Concours standard.

This awesomely original XK 120 was unrestored until 2007. It is now in the hands of a master restorer, undergoing a sympathetic repaint and retrim to ensure it is preserved permanently and with complete accuracy.

cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1951-Jaguar-XK120-Roadster-/261217496582
Opening bid $85,000 reserve not met, no bids 9 days left in auction. Car now said to be in New York, New York. 51k miles.
Sellers description:
This numbers matching, highly original Jaguar XK 120 is being shown in its original colors of Black with a Duo Red and Biscuit insert interior and Tan hood. The car was repainted approx 6 years ago and a new interior from Bassett's Jaguar was installed in the past year. The numbers matching engine has been rebuilt and all of the mechanicals have been gone through including new brakes and a rebuilt front suspension. The body is straight with no rust apparent anywhere on the vehicle. The undercarriage of this XK120 remains in its original state and even retains the rubber gators on the rear leaf springs. The chrome is also original and presents itself quite well.
Originally delivered to Connecticut via Max Hoffman in New York City the original owner then took the car to Florida and eventually brought the car with him to North Carolina, he owned the car up until approximately 7 years ago. The car's 41,000 miles are believed to be original. Comes complete with a Heritage Certificate, Toolkit, repair orders, and tax documents.

This Jaguar XK 120 OTS was newly delivered at the 12th. of June 1951 and is believed o have been newly delivered to a sir Foti Salvatore.
According to the XK Data files, this specific example has been owned by the same family for 57 years.
It was then found in totally original condition in every aspect including it’s original Black paint and red/tan interior. Even the original tires were still on the car confirming that the car drove originally 40.600 miles after 57 years.
Today the Jaguar’s odometer shows 42.000 miles!
During the body restoration of the car, the body has been soda blasted to bare metal and afterwards epoxy primed including the chassis frame and underbody.
During the restoration the Jaguar has been restored to it’s original delivery specification being Black with a Red / Biscuit interior.
Due to the low mileage the original matching numbers engine is still in the car.
This engine has been overhauled during the restoration.
Another unique detail on this Jaguar is the history file which comes with the car.
Inside the file one can find several very old pictures with the car and it’s owner. A great addition to this already special car!
CONDITION EXTERIOR
Therefore the body is nowadays extremely straight with perfect hood, door and trunk fittings.
The chrome on the car is in a wonderful condition as well and fits very well on the car without any gaps.
The restoration has been carefully done keeping an eye on original specifications resulting in keeping the correct (body) details.
We recently changed the tires on the Jaguar due to the fact that we brought the Jaguar to Italy as a spare car for the Mille Miglia.
CONDITION INTERIOR
During the restoration the interior of the Jaguar has been restored in the original color scheme as new. Red with biscuit as is mentioned on the Jaguar build sheet.
The interior is restored with period correct materials and is in a wonderful condition.
The car comes with a tonneau cover.
