Offered for sale on www.jag4sale.net
Ad reads:
This is a very early XK120 Roadster. It is an exceptionally straight body with no rust. The doors and front bonnet fit very good, correct original engine and transmission. This is a very complete XK needing complete restoration

And front fenders. If you try to contact the seller, you get the run-around. I suspect that this car may never have existed as pictured, or if it did it long ago sold and someone is using the old information to run one of those internet scams. I could be wrong.

If you notice, the ads have the car on the opposite side of the world from each other.

Surely 120s didn't have front indicator lights - did they?
It also appears to have been resprayed - the overall external appearance is at odds with the interior.

This car is not in Sydney, Australia, despite advertisements to the contrary.

This car was sold in California by European Collectibles 3 years ago for 19.000 $. The pictures are from their website / backyard.
All later (2005) ads about this car is a scam, it does not exist in Australia. The company Batam Classics does not exist in Sydney etheir. The website www.batamclassics.com is registred on a man called "Siobhan Shallow" in Dorset, England.
Please dont be fooled.

It's surfaced again in www.classicrallies.com/view_carforsale/662 where the "owner" is asking Euros 4,200 and the car is in Sidney (sic). The same site is also offering an Aston DB4 1962 for Euros 4,000 so there is a distinct smell of scam here.
