One family owned from new. History file from 1960- present. Repaint in 1995 showing light patina, engine rebuilt, brakes, stainless exhaust, top and interior in 2005-6 by noted Jaguar specialist. Starts, runs and drives like it should, doors do not sag, no surprises.

According to the Jaguar Heritage trace certificate, the car was originally Pastel Green Metallic w/Suede Green Interior and a Sand top. It's currently BRG with a Suede Green interior and Sand top. According to the receipts, the car was repainted British Racing Green in 1995. The paint presents well with a few minor issues. 2 dings (pictured on photobucket), the rear license plate holder is wavy, there is some chipped paint along one side of the opening for the fuel filler and the passenger's side wheel spat seems to have been repainted more recently and does not match well.
The car has larger turn signals in front (from an XK140 perhaps) and additional lights on either side of the license plate in the rear. These look as if they were installed in the 1950′s/early 1960′s. The car currently sits on vintage Firestone tires in excellent condition, including a spare that has never been used. It is a great driver - even on these tires. The car has no rust and the underside looks very nice -- and straight. The album below includes several photos from before the restoration, which include fashions and other vehicles to help dictate their age.
The top is in excellent condition and has a larger plastic window. The side curtains are in unrestored original condition. And I also have the original tool roll with many original tools. The engine has the desirable 8:1 compression ratio.

Hi. Is it possible to post a photo of the tools and tool roll for reference purposes. Cheers.

Jordy, image posted but be careful of using it for a reference, after 60 years much can change and it may not be accurate.
