    Morocco, fate unknown

    John Elmgreen (from Sydney, Australia) and Terry McGrath (Perth, Western Australia) have been extreme XK enthusiasts since the 1970s if not before. In 1985 they published "The Jaguar XK in Australia". It was described by Alan Clark (Jaguar expert, historian, Minister in the UK Thatcher government) as amongst Jaguar books "my own personal favourite" and by Jaguar automobilia expert Ian Cooling as a superb book standing "supreme in the Jaguar library as a testament to years of diligent research and scholarship". Terry McGrath is also co-author of the monumental "Forerunners of Jaguar in Australasia and SE Asia". The new book "The Jaguar XK120 in the Southern Hemisphere" is to be followed in due course by XK140 and XK150 volumes.

    Sellers description:
    1952 Jaguar 120 Roadster with 21,400 miles. Jaguar Heritage Certificate. Silver blue exterior, red leather interior. Frame off nut and bolt restoration documented with lots of pictures. Stainless steel and brass sleeved brakes, aluminum gas tank, stainless steel exhaust system, 12 volt single battery conversion, electronic ignition system, new chrome wire wheels with new radial tires. Engine, transmission and body have matching numbers with Heritage Certificate, rebuilt with all new parts including original new oil pump. All engine parts balanced. Runs and idles beautifully. Transmission and rear axle rebuilt with new bearings and seals. Alloy doors rebuilt with new heavy gauge structural interior door frames. Body sandblasted on rotisserie, and repainted with high quality primer and finish paint. Frame repainted with black emron paint. All wheels have new bearings and brakes. New wiring harness. New leather interior with Wilton carpets. Seat frames rebuilt. New beige canvas convertible top and new side curtains. A BEAUTIFUL JAGUAR 120 ROADSTER. Restored by German craftsman.
