Ebay item 3/29/14 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1952-Jaguar-XK120-Roadster-/231186460053
Classified ad asking £38,500.
Sellers description:
Rust free XK120 Roadster from sunny California that was dry stored for 50 years. Many years ago it was fitted with a 3.8 litre engine with an E-Type cylinder head that was said to have been rebuilt by a top Jaguar engineer in California. It has never run but turns freely and when I removed the cam covers I found that the cams had a coating of storage grease. No intake manifold or carburettors. Totally rust free body and chassis, not even any rust pit marks on the chassis. It has the convertible top and side screens. California Title document and UK Customs clearance letter. For an export buyer I will obtain a UK registration document if required. I bought this car as a nice easy project but due to a major unexpected change in plans I will not now have the time. It would be very difficult to find a better, rust free car than this.
