Car offered at:
www.sladesgarage.com/jaguar-xk-120-ots-3.4-restoration-in-buckinghamshire-195434 ...

Sellers description:
Originally Supplied to the USA in September 1952 in Cream with Biscuit and Red Interior and a Fawn Roof, The car was shipped back to the UK in 1988 and was sold as a complete car needing restoration. The car was then subject to a full bare metal repaint and full engine rebuild including body off chassis recondition.
The car was also converted from LHD to RHD at the same time.
Unfortunatley due to ill heath and cash flow problems the car was never completed and lay untouched for 17 years. The bodywork is still in remarkable condition although will need repainting. Some of the parts are still with the car but the dashboard is missing and all dials. The seats have been re trimmed in Red leather and are in perfect condition still in plastic rap. Original engine and gearbox.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE BEST OFFER TO BUY.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
