Ebay item 7/13/17 www.ebay.com/itm/1953-Jaguar-XK-XK120-Roadster-Barn-find-/112479248338
Car has a buy it now price of $49,500 for 20 days, seller faunlimited1, 50k miles.
Sellers description:
1953 Jaguar XK120 Roadster
Recent "barn find", found in a garage where it sat for over 30 years! Long term ownership since 1960's. Original title from that era included
This is a very worthy candidate for restoration. It is a 100% numbers matching drive train solid frame and body. minor rust in door sill and battery pan caused by acid leaking from the original 6V batteries
Engine turns by hand
Extra wheels and bias ply tries included, date coded for 1958, could possibly be the original tires?
This is a highly original and untouched car, I believe it to have some of its original paint present in some areas, flaking off to expose bare metal and no layers underneath.
Soft top frame in great shape, as well as side curtains in good restorable condition.
This is not a rusty Jaguar, this is a very good basis for restoration!
