Oct 16, 2007 I have just purchased the above car. It presently has a Mk 1 3.4 engine and is in good overall mechanical condition but a bit tatty - it will get TLC when I get my hands on it.
I live in Cognac so the LHD spec is perfect. Once I have the car here, I will supply more detail and photo(s)

My father owned this car between 1999 and 2004 when he died. He was the editor of the Jaguar Driver Magazine and documented his restoration in that magazine. I am really keen to know where it is now and if it is still on the road. Am trying to find out.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
