Make Jaguar
Model XK120 Drophead Coupe

The XK120 for sale here was recently imported from the US where it had been in the same family ownership for almost sixty years. It looks in fine form presented in its original colours of black bodywork with biscuit/red leather trim. Complete with its original engine, this XK120 had its cylinder head replaced many years ago with a new 3.8 E-Type, straight port head fitted with twin 2 inch SU carburettors. XK120 Cylinder head and carbs are supplied with this car. The vendor describes the engine and bodywork as being in excellent condition. This very pretty car comes complete with its Jaguar Heritage Certificate and represents fantastic value.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
