While going through my late fathers photo albums, I came across documents and pictures pertaining to car 673411. I believe my father purchased it from Peter Satori in Pasadena California. I scanned the original Factory guarantee and a letter from the factory signed by W.Lyons and uploaded them. I believe it was his second Jag Xk. The photo album refers to a 1950 car they owned. The album contains photos of one of the cars being raced at Pebble Beach and Torrey Pines. I hope this info will be of some help to someone.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
