This 1953 Jaguar XK120 roadster is said to have been refurbished under previous ownership and was reportedly acquired by the current owner’s father in 1997. The car is finished in gray over red upholstery and is powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes dual SU carburetors, 16″ steel wheels, fender-mounted side mirrors, removable wheel spats, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror. The car left the factory finished in Birch Grey and was refinished in its current shade as part of the aforementioned refurbishment. The 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six features dual SU carburetors and was factory rated at 160 horsepower. The heater core was repaired and the carburetors were synchonized in November 2022. Additional work completed at this time involved replacing the intake manifold gasket, water pump assembly, and the batteries and is shown in an invoice in the image gallery below.

A Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace Certificate lists factory colors and identification numbers. A tool roll will also accompany the car.
