This vehicle belongs to the United States quota. It was in Hornburg, Los Angeles, delivered on December 1, 1953, as evidenced by the present certificate. After exactly 40 years ago, on 07/12/1993, the vehicle was cleared through customs in Germany and then fully restored. 1996 acquired the vehicle his last owner, who now releases it after 18 years with a heavy heart. During his time the car got a new engine and a 5-speed transmission and a high-performance cooler and many useful improvements.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
