    Ebay item 10/6/08
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-beautiful-unrestored-XK-series-Jaguar_W0QQitemZ13 ...
Opening bid $28,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction. 62,000 miles.

    Sellers description:
Beautiful, unrestored XK120 OTS RDST. A fine running Jaguar that is one of the more difficult to find. This model is either fully restored and are bringing in excess of $100,000 or a rusty hulk, needing a tremendous amount of money to get it on the road. My car, owned by the previous gentleman for 35 yrs. and by me for 7yrs. has never been off the road except for maintenance and the usual repairs needed to keep these great cars on the road. Everything is in great working order. I drive the car every chance I get. The paint is old, presentable, interior in great shape, All gauges in good working order. To find a car like this is very difficult. It took me 6 yrs to be lucky enough to find this one.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
