This car's VIN was used to build a fiberglass replica by Eagle Coach Works. Seller is unsure of just what parts of the original car were used in the kit. The engine is a jaguar 4.2 six possible from xj 1986

If this is built on a "box section chassis" presumably not an original XK120 chassis how on earth can it be reffered to as 677127?

Good question, looks like there's a data plate in the engine compartment, someone probably fabricated this car from the bones of the real one.

This car converted to RH drive.

Majority of parts are original XK120 but as with a lot of these cars the brakes and suspension have been uprated (disc brakes front)

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
