1951 Jaguar XK 120 FHC

An icon: The oldest XK Coupe from series production FG No. 679006

Jaguar XK 120 FHC

Year of construction 1951

Chassis number 679006

Condition category Restored

First registration 07/1951

Matching numbers yes

steering left

Transmission manual gears 4

Manufacturer color designation Pastel Green

Interior color green Inner material leather

special equipment

The car was factory built on 13.07.1951. With chassis No.679006 it´s the oldest XK Coupe from the production line in the world. With matching Numbers, the car is original in every way, just as it

left the factory. In 1951 the car was shipped to LA, USA to the main Dealer Charles Hornburg. The first owner was Steven W. Cooper. From 1966 till 1986 a US-Postman used the XK for delivering parcels in Virginia. In 1989 the No. 6 was imported to Germany by a major Jaguar Collector. It was restored within

5 years by an Aston Martin Specialist in greater Hamburg to its original state. The new owner then drove the XK to England to have the interior restored by Suffolk & Turley in Nuneaton, England

The special parts of this very early XK 120 FHC are the sidelamps from Jaguar MK V no Waterinjection for the Windscreen, no Sun

Visor and the Valvecovers are different. I will be sure its next owner will be torn between driving the car and just looking at it.

The XK has been a price winner at the "Int. Concours d´Elegance" in Schwetzigen and Ludwigsburg. Please find more information at xkdata.com
