Opening bid $3,500 reserve not met, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction. 48k miles.

Sellers description:
I have had the Jaguar for over 40 years, most of which vehicle was garaged. It was running and driving prior to disassembly for restoration. Much of the chassis restoration is completed, now the rest is up to you. I also have many boxes of extra parts that I have accumulated over the last 40 years such as, new old stock mirrors, carburettors, starters, generators, extra set of wheels and hubcaps, cylinder head, taillights, headlights, extra grill, door handles, and many hard iron parts. The car has minimal rust. It is very restorable. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase what many consider to be the most aesthetically pleasing car that Jaguar ever made, at a reasonable price. There are not many unrestored XK120 Jaguars available so do not let this one get away.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
