The translation of Paul's post (dd 9/22, 2006) might read as follows:
The car presented is a Fixed Head Coupe of 1952, OEW, with red leather trim which was remade at the time of the car's restoration. This elegant Coupe was bought by the PO in March 1980 in Concours state; its current owner acquired it in November 1998 and did enter in many historical rallys. The car profited from a followed maintenance (invoices); it was entirely revised in June 2003, the master cylinder is new and an electric fan improves cooling. It is a pretty car, eligible for the Tour of France, the Miles Miles, Liege-Rome-Liege and many other historical rallyes.

This Fixed Head Coupe''s first year of production is back to its original condition with steel wheels and spats. Interior in very good condition, Connolly red leather and burr walnut veneer. French registration, FIVA paper, French MOT, history known, Jaguar Heritage Certificate, equipped with a secondary fan and extra spare parts. This is an astonishingly example of one of the most beautiful of all classic Jaguars. Possessing the most perfect body line - similar to the Bugattis from the 30s - with superb panel gaps and fitment, this car has a terrific chassis frame and has to be seen to be appreciated - a rare find. Easy car to drive, in very good condition and ready to enjoy.
