an OTS claiming this chassis number is on EBay at present which asserts that it is "Special version Le Mans winner model original condition" for US$650,000

:D Sorry, that is REALLY FUNNY! Just because a C-type won Le Mans in 1953 in BRG, some folks seem to believe that ANY Jaguar painted in BRG (regardless if it was available at the time or not) instantly becomes a "Le Mans Winner". "Original condition" that's another big laugh. This car has a FHC chassis number and an OTS body with repro Brooklands screens and racing seats. Oh yeah, it sure must be a rare genuine factory special racing car... LOL!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
