Ebay item 6/4/21
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144045628503
Classified ad price: £60,000, seller sportsclassicsuk.

Seller's description:
Sports classics UK in Sheffield are pleased to offer this 1952 Jaguar XK120 FHC LHD for sale. This car is offered for sale from a collector we have bought a number of vehicles from recently.

It originally was painted at the factory in the special colour of Twilight Blue with a Navy interior as a special order.

Chassis number 679886 is a matching numbers car with W5595-8 being the original and fitted engine.

It was a personal import so its heritage certificate records a UK registration number as it was hand delivered from factory. The original and cherished Jaguar registration number was MHP445 and it should be possible to have this attributed back to the car.

Included in the price will be UK registration and main land delivery.

Price 60000 GBP

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
