Description
This is a race ready fully lightened & fully modified but within original parameters for Historic Racing. It has a 330 bhp full D type spec.

History
It was used in the US for competition, in the early Nineties it was brought back to the UK and fully restored, it has been successfully campaigned by the present owner since.
Recent Competition History
The last events were in 1997, Manx classic, 3rd place finish, Jaguar 50th Anniversary races at Donnington, 4th place finish.
Engine

* Jaguar full race 3.8 litre 'D' spec
* triple Webbers
* handmade S/S 6 branch exhaust with side exit
* triple plate clutch
* special hydraulics, flywheel and starter
* full spec on request

Fuel System
* large capcity alloy tank with twin high volume race pumps
* runs on pump fuel

Oil/Water System
* oil cooler with twin filter system all Aeroquip
* large alloy radiator with special cooling system

Electrical System
* special electronic ignition, special lightweight alternator and pulley system

Gearbox
* Jaguar close ratio 4 speed all synchro with strengthened internals & short travel linkage

Final Drive
* Salisbury Powerlock 3.54 diff in strengthened axle with oil pump and cooler
* special 5 link anti tramp system

Body
* all original body in steel with alloy doors, boot, bonnet, rear wings, alloy inner wings & boot floor
* all in near mint condition

Chassis
* standard original chassis all Bronze bushed & in perfect condition
* Dampers: Koni telescopic, race ready
* Front Suspension: original with all Bronze bushes and special torsion bars
* Rear Suspension: modified Heavy Duty half eliptic rear springs
* Steering: special high ratio rack and pinion, solid mounted
* Brakes: frnt 11" solid disc with AP racing 4 pot alloy calipers, rear are 11" solid disc with large steel calipers, no servos.
* Wheels: specially made competition wire wheels, 1 set 7"/8" & one set of 6" all with new competition tires.
* Weight: approximately 550 lbs lighter than original.

Interior
* fully trimmed in lightweight materials to original spec with alloy bucket seats.
* original woodwork and dash with additional instruments including Chrono tach.
* all glass replaced with Polycarbonate.
* 'D' type wood rimmed steering wheel, full fire system, FIA rear roll bar, full FIA seat harness.
