681332 was Built on Jan 18, 1954. The FHC was imported to Max Hoffman Imports in New York with no first owner recorded.
I have a Title dated 1971 and seller was named Steven Eaton . I also have all bills of sale after 1971. I managed to find Steven and his email recalls he baught the car from a Real Estate deveolper named Carl Bocherer of Canterbury Ct for $350.. 681332 was Stevens first car and said it was the talk of the Nave Base in Groton Ct after he restored it.
Steven later sold 681332 to a William Handy for $1800. Previous owners were Steven J Collins, Randolph Brezee, Harry Weaver Sr. and Harry Weaver Jr. I purchased the car from Harrys widow.
I have owned the car since the Summer of 1994 and It has almost completed a frame off restoration with every Nut and Bolt refinished or replaced.
With only a interior left to complete,
681332 is almost finished.
It there is any one out there that knows the rest of the story, Please let me know.

Ebay item 9/14/11 XKdata.com website.
Frame number 681332
This XK will need some minor adjustments to the doors for correct fitting. There is a small area below the left headlight that will need repair and paint blended to repair. This will be a easy repair and any good paint shop should be able to repair. I will supply the paint code. New Door shims are supplied. Once finished, just a carpet set and leather seats are all this is required to finish and enjoy. Mileage says 89831 but I have no Idea if it is correct.
The Heritage certificate is included and the car comes with a full history of owners post 1971 including original Bills of Sale/ Title of each owner dating to 1971. I made contact with the first known owner who verified who he bought the car from. (email supplied) This person owned this XK as his first car newly enlisted in the navy (Groton Ct). The owner previous to him is now deceased and the trail stops there.
