Interestingly, the car was supplied from new with a factory spec. sump guard, high output 'Special Equipment' dynamo, and an electrical engine heater.

The car has featured in a number of magazine articles and was selected for inclusion in the revised version of Philip Porter’s book 'Original Jaguar XK', due to its excellent overall originality and condition.
