Thought to have begun life as a right-hand drive export model (or so its chassis number and the presence of a km/h speedometer would suggest), this particular example has been in the current ownership for sixteen years. Benefiting from a four-wheel disc brake conversion, 'OSU 267' is reportedly in "very good" overall condition save for the finish of its British Racing Green paintwork which "could be better". Trimmed in tan leather with beige carpets, its 2+2 interior boasts vanity lights and a wood veneer dashboard / door cappings. Topped by a 'C-type' cylinder head, its 3442cc XK DOHC straight-six engine is allied to four-speed plus overdrive manual transmission. Riding on wire wheels, this well specified Jaguar XK140 is considered "ideal for long distance driving".

Could somebody tell me what the original GB reg. of this car was, please?

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
