The Jaguar XK140 sports cars were manufactured by Jaguar between 1954 and 1957. This particular one was made in 1955 with improved upgrades (from XK120 model) of tube shock absorbers and gear control to name a few.

This 1955 Jaguar was imported from the UK to Finland in 2004 by a car-dealer.
The current owner purchased the car in 2004 and had it road registered in 2006.
In between 2004-2006 the following work was carried out by skilled professionals:

- Converted from RHD to LHD.
- Jaguar XK150 (newer model) disc brakes were fitted in front to improve braking quality.
- AC Power charger fitted
- 5-speed gearbox fitted (Getrag).

Engine is original and in very good condition.
Paintwork is original colour (British racing green).
Interior fabrics have been replaced and are in great condition.

The speedometer was set to zero after all the work was finished, it has been driven 900km since.

The car is currently registered in Finland and been qualified a museum registration certificate.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
