Seller's description:

Jaguar XK140 DHC RHD 1956 - for sale

Chassis no: 807386

This Jaguar XK140 drophead coupé was fully restored in 1993 and has since covered under 10,000 miles. A photographic record of the restoration is suppied with the car. It is an original right hand drive car originally supplied by Odeon Motors of Barnet, Hertfordshire to Hinchcliffe Bros. of Licester.

This car has a very desirable C-Type cylinder head and overdrive gearbox, the latter being added during restoration. The addition of 2" carburettors, electronic iginition and an electronic fuel pump bring this XK up to a nice useable specification. The car also benefits from a high torque starter motor and an electric cooling fan.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
