It does appear to be the same car as shown above in the Bonhams auction. Seller has a facility in Italy.

Sellers description:
1955 | Jaguar - XK140 Roadster
Chassis n° 810334
Engine n° G1518-8

The XK140 “SE” Roadster was built in 1955 and shipped to USA for a Californian customer, it is a “Special Equipment” model fitted with the “C-Type” head which allows to the 3.4 liter unit to produce and interesting 210 HP. In 2002 a total restoration was done from the bare chassis, all the components were restored ( body / interior / engine / transmission / brakes / wiring / suspension / fuel system … ), the work quality is excellent with a lot of attention done to detailing. Only a spare use was done since and ran about 3125 miles, driven especially during classic events. The driving is very enjoyable with the important torque delivered by the power unit and the very responsive chassis which allows a great handling. Optically, the bodywork also received a very serious work with excellent panel fit and paint finishing, chromes and wire wheels are flawless and the interior offers a beautiful beige Connolly leather. This superb XK140 also comes with soft top and side screens to face rain, has been verified to be a 100% matching numbers and can only described has being an excellent opportunity to acquire a magnificent and strong XK.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
